Daneswood aims to provide a home for up to 11 young adults, both male and female aged 18 + with severe or profound and multiple learning disabilities in a caring environment where individual rights are respected, individual living skills are developed and individuals’ quality of life is enhanced.

Daneswood will use some of the principles of the anthroposophical work of Dr Rudolph Steiner; we will aim to create a stable environment and the nurture the individual in physical, emotional social and spiritual aspects. We will seek to encourage individuals’ dignity and senses of responsibility and self worth.
